Chloë Grace Moretz was born on 10 February 1997. She is an American actress. She is the recipient of various accolades, including four MTV Movie & TV Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, two Saturn Awards, and two Young Artist Awards.

Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Cartersville, Georgia. Her mother, Teri Duke, is a nurse practitioner, and her father, Dr McCoy “Mac” Moretz, was a plastic surgeon, and heir to the Moretz hosiery business, bought out in 2011 for $350 million.

She moved to New York City in 2002, with her mother and brother Trevor, because he had been accepted into the Professional Performing Arts School, which is what first drew her interest in acting. Moretz would help Trevor read lines.

As a child she acted by playing roles in the supernatural horror film The Amityville Horror (2005), the drama series Desperate Housewives (2006–07), the supernatural horror film The Eye (2008), the drama film The Poker House (2008), the drama series Dirty Sexy Money (2007–08), the romantic comedy film 500 Days of Summer (2009) and the children’s comedy film Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010).

The Little Mermaid is restricted to direct adaptations of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, The Little Mermaid. The reason why Moretz dropped this project was that she wanted to reassess her choice of roles in such projects.

The Addams Family 2 is a 2021 computer-animated supernatural black comedy road film based on the characters created by Charles Addams.  It tells the story of the Addams family as they go on a road trip.

Texas Killing Fields also known as The Fields is a 2011 American crime film directed by Ami Canaan Mann and starring Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jessica Chastain and Chloë Grace Moretz. It competed in the 68th Venice International Film Festival.

The film’s screenplay was loosely inspired by true events surrounding the murders of women kidnapped from cities spread along 30-plus miles of the I-45 corridor and dumped in many areas, including various bayous surrounding the oil fields of Texas City, Texas.

The 2014 film storyline follows a 17-year-old classical musician as she deals with the aftermath of a catastrophic car accident involving her family and has an out-of-body experience.
