Amidst the ongoing controversy, the microphone thrown by Cardi B at the audience was auctioned off to raise funds for two charitable organizations. The company that owns the microphone stated that it still functions normally, and they aim to turn its notoriety into a positive impact on society.

Cardi B’s Mic Auctioned Off Surprisingly Raises $1.18 Billion – The company ensures that this is the microphone Cardi B used during the performance, identified by the white band underneath the mic. The starting price for this microphone was $500 (approximately 11.8 million VND), but it has now been auctioned off for $50,000 (approximately 1.18 billion VND). Similar new microphones are priced at around $1,000 (approximately 23.7 million VND). The auction is scheduled to end on August 8.

Cardi B’s actions have been criticized by many audiences as lacking restraint and being violent. After a few seconds of calm, the rapper continued her performance on stage while the water-splashing audience member was asked to leave the event. On StationHead, Cardi B spoke up, asking the audience to imagine themselves in her shoes and see how they would react. The rapper stated that being splashed with water caused her pain, hence her retaliatory action.
