Avril Lavigne enjoyed a skateboarding session with her new love interest, Tik Tok  country singer Nate Smith on Monday night.

The duo were seen skateboarding after their date at celeb loved hot spot Catch in West Hollywood.

They went to a gas station after their dinner and pulled out their skateboards for a memorable way to end their date.

Avril, 39, pulled on a hoodie to stay warm, as she skateboarded alongside her new man.

The lovebirds were seen hanging out together in the back of a Ford truck, with a friend driving them.

Nate was seen putting a way a glass bottled beverage upon his exit from the truck bed. 

The duo then both jumped out of the back of the truck bed once they were stopped at a gas station, grabbing skateboards to enjoy a late night session.

Avril, who penned her hit song Sk8er Boi in 2002, wore a hoodie with the hood pulled over her long blonde tresses, still rocking her velvet flared bottoms and tee from her dinner.

Nate, 38, wore the same outfit as their date – a leather jacket, jeans and a baseball cap.

Nate went viral on Tik Tok in 2020 with his country song Wildfire, which led to him getting signed to Sony Music Nashville one year later.

He dropped his self titled studio album via Arista Nashville in April 2023 with the singles World on Fire, Whiskey on You and Wreckage. 

The popstar grinned from ear to ear as the pair left the venue, Avril donning her signature smattering of heavy black eyeliner. 

Also in the music industry, Nate’s career kicked off after his song Wildfire went viral on Tik Tok in 2020.

The single led to him securing a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and release subsequent singles Raised Up and I Don’t Wanna Go To Heaven. 

Originally from Paradise, California, the 38-year-old’s home burned down in the Butte County Camp Fire in November 2018.

The natural disaster was the state’s most deadliest wildfires in the state’s history and inspired Nate’s breakout song One Of These Days. 

Prior to their skateboarding session, the Complicated hitmaker and the Tik Tok artist enjoyed a dinner at Catch Steak, three months after her split from rapper Tyga. 

Tyga and Avril went public with their romance in March 2023, splitting the first time in June 2023 before rekindling their romance one month later.

However they were then spotted together at a Las Vegas event over Fourth Of July weekend, igniting rumors that they were back on.

In October 2023, an insider confirmed to People that they only briefly got back together and their relationship was ‘totally over.’

Prior to her relationship with Tyga, Avril was engaged to rapper Mod Sun. 

The pair began dating in 2021 and their relationship quickly progressed, with the couple getting engaged the same year. 

They shocked fans when it emerged they’d split in February in 2023 and Mod Sun said he was ‘blindsided’ when the singer called it quits.

The couple went their separate ways  after a two-year romance – with his representative informing Page Six  both he and Avril ‘were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour.’ 

TMZ reported that Avril had called off their engagement after the couple were ‘on and off’ for the past couple months. 

While what exactly led to the split remains unclear, the outlet claimed neither party was unfaithful to the other. 

Avril has also been married twice; she first walked down the aisle with Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, when she was just 22 years old. 

The couple got engaged in 2005 and tied the knot a year later in a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony at a private estate in the California coastal city of Montecito.

However by 2009, the pair had gone their separate ways, with a source telling People she ‘married too young.’

Avril walked down the aisle for the second time to Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger in a gothic South of France ceremony in 2013, but sadly the couple split two years later.

Despite going their separate ways the pair have remained good friends. 

Nate previously dated TV personality Savannah Chrisley, 26, but the pair broke up some time around May 2023. 

Savannah, who is the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, said at the time: ‘It was such a great experience. I mean, I have literally nothing to say about him other than having so much respect for him. It was just a tough situation for everyone involved.’

The star explained that she wasn’t able to support Nate on his tours due to her role as a caregiver for her brother Grayson, 16, and niece Chloe, 10, who she gained custody of after her parents were sent to prison in 2022. 

The pair were found guilty of fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy to defraud the United States by federal jury in Atlanta.
