Video of Taylor Swift donating money to backstage staff at the 2025 Grammy Awards is going viral.
In a video posted by a fan on X on February 11, Taylor is seen walking briskly through the hallway with her friends, then suddenly turns around to tip the cleaning staff. “Thank you so much for all your hard work,” Taylor says. “We really appreciate it,” one employee replies.

The video was filmed at the Grammy Awards after-party on February 2. That day, the Shake It Off singer did not win any awards in any of the 6 nomination categories but still kept a happy spirit.

Taylor Swift stopped to give money to the cleaning staff.
Many viewers praised Taylor Swift’s caring and generous nature. “How can you hate her? Taylor is the sweetest person,” one person commented. Many agreed: “Taylor is always generous,” “Taylor, no one can make me hate you,” “This woman is very smart and has a heart of gold,” “Her giving money to each employee and saying thank you personally is much better than letting the company give it to them”…
Many fans also questioned why the audience at the Super Bowl on February 9 booed when the big screen showed Taylor Swift’s picture because she has always been a nice person. “She gets hate for no reason”, “People show that they don’t like her. For what?”, fans wrote.

Taylor Swift is known for her generosity. In addition to regularly donating millions of dollars to relief organizations, she also donates money to workers. Previously, the 35-year-old singer regularly gave cash to workers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City when she was cheering on her boyfriend, football star Travis Kelce. Taylor also gave $100 to the kitchen staff at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts – where Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs play in December 2023. Another time, she gave $100 to a ticket taker working at Highmark Stadium in January 2024.

Taylor thanked the kitchen staff with a $100 bill.
Taylor Swift gives even more generous bonuses to her employees. After her Eras Tour last year, the singer gave a total of $200 million in bonuses in addition to salaries to her employees, including: dancers, choreographers, physical therapists, makeup and hair artists, stylists, band members, instrument technicians, sound, lighting and pyrotechnics, fitters, camera crew members, production staff, assistants, truck drivers, merchandisers, security guards, and servers.
In August 2023, after finishing her US tour, Taylor gave her staff a $55 million bonus. At that time, TMZ revealed that the Lover singer gave 50 truck drivers $100,000 each to thank them for transporting her equipment across the country. Other crew members such as dancers, band members, sound and lighting technicians… also received huge sums.
