As she wished the eight-time Ballon d’Or well on his 37th birthday, Antonela sent Messi a family picture. Messi is already on Argentina duty for the Copa America, hence the pair is not able to spend the big day together. The Inter Miami athlete answered his wife with an emotional note.

Antonela captioned her post: “Happy birthday love, Leo Messi. We love you endlessly.”

Under the Instagram post, Messi commented: “Thank you very much my life, I love you and I miss you!!!”

After they were teenagers, Antonela and the winner of the Argentine World Cup had been dating on and off until they sealed the knot in 2017. Having achieved all there is to win in the game, Messi said earlier this month that he also wants a daughter to complete the family as he approaches the end of his career. Thiago, Matteo and Ciro are his three children together.

Currently training for their Copa America showdown against Chile on June 25 at MetLife Stadium, the Argentine hero is with Lionel Scaloni and his side trying to win their fourth-straight international crown.
