Blind Prophet Baba Vanga’s Predictions Come True in 2024
Prophet Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterora, also known as Baba Vanga, has predicted a number of events over the past year with astonishing accuracy.
Baba Vanga was a blind Bulgarian psychic who became famous in Eastern Europe in the mid-20th century for her prophetic abilities. She was born in 1911 and lost her sight at the age of 12, after her village was hit by a sandstorm. Since then, Vanga claimed to be able to see the future.

Some of the blind prophet’s chilling predictions appear to have come true over the past year, as she predicted the worsening economic and climate crises that are affecting the world.
Despite the UK economy growing slightly over the past year, many people in the Nordic powerhouse continue to rely on food banks to feed themselves and their families. Uncertainty is also spreading around the world, with billions struggling amid inflation and job losses.
Another scenario that Vanga predicted for 2024 was an alarming climate crisis. The “environmental challenges” she pointed out were hard to argue with. 2024 was the warmest year on record. Worldwide, extreme weather events have claimed countless lives.

Recently, in Valencia, Spain, heavy rainfall caused deadly floods, covering areas that had never been flooded before, turning streets into raging rivers in just a few minutes.
Several other European countries also saw record rainfall in September 2024, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Germany and Slovakia. In the Americas, unusually warm ocean temperatures sparked the Category 5 Hurricane Beryl in June, which wreaked havoc across the Caribbean and eventually hit parts of Texas.
Meanwhile, six major storms hit the Philippines in just one month, affecting the lives of millions of people. High temperatures in Mexico also killed hundreds of people – just as Baba Vanga predicted.

Another prediction she made that proved incredibly accurate was medical advances in cancer and Alzheimer’s. In 2024, doctors will create a new test to detect cancer in under-18s and a treatment for cervical cancer. And last year, people with Alzheimer’s disease got new hope as clinical trials showed that the disease could be slowed down. In the UK, treatments have been approved for use on patients.
However, one of Vanga’s predictions that didn’t seem to come true last year was the use of biological weapons by some countries. Her predictions for the coming year, 2025, could be both exciting and devastating. In it, Vanga said that aliens will make their first contact with humans – strangely enough, at a major sporting event.
