Actor Hudson Joseph Meek, 16, suffered serious injuries when he fell onto the road while participating in traffic, but many details are still unclear.

According to Dailymail, police are still investigating the cause of Hudson Joseph Meek’s death and have not announced whether the incident is related to a car accident or anyone else.

However, according to TMZ , a law enforcement source said that the police are investigating this as an accident. Police found no signs of murder. The young actor is also said to have not used alcohol or drugs before the accident.

The Jefferson County, Alabama, medical examiner’s office previously said the teen star suffered blunt force injuries when he was thrown from a moving vehicle at around 10:45 p.m. on December 19 on Canyon Road in Vestavia Hills. Hudson was rushed to an area hospital but died two days later.

The family announced the sad news on Facebook and Instagram on December 21, sharing their grief over Hudson’s sudden passing and paying tribute to the young actor’s talent and achievements. In lieu of flowers, the family asked friends and fans to donate to Hudson’s memorial scholarship fund at Vestavia Hills High School.

TMZ reports that the family has decided to donate Hudson Joseph Meek’s organs to help save the lives of others.
