America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has surgery for broken back after riding electric bike
On August 8, entertainment mogul Simon Cowell was all over the US press after he suffered an unfortunate accident with his electric bike. It is known that while testing this “new toy” at his home in Malibu, California, he fell, leading to extremely serious injuries.

Simon’s representative, when sharing with the press, said: “Simon was immediately taken to hospital and surgery was carried out overnight. He is now stable and being monitored.”
“He landed on his back when he was thrown from the bike. The injury was severe, but the doctor said Simon was lucky it was only a broken back,” a source told People . The surgery reportedly took five hours.
