Shakira and Cardi B’s “Puntería” is here!
On Thursday, the singers dropped their magical new music video featuring Shakira singing in a bubble, Emily in Paris actor Lucien Laviscount getting shot in the chest with an arrow while dressed as a centaur, lots of sexy dance moves and more.
The track features on Shakira’s 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which marks her first LP release in seven years, following the release of 2017’s El Dorado.
The new record that dropped Friday includes 16 tracks from the award-winning singer. Among those are eight new songs, a new remix and seven previously-released smash hit singles including “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Monotonía” with Ozuna, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro and “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo.
Shakira, 47, and Cardi, 31, revealed how their collab came about while interviewing one another in footage shot on the set of the music video and subsequently shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the fan page Cardi All Access.
“When I first met Shakira, it was in Paris at the Fendi show, and I was very, very nervous,” Cardi recalled of meeting the Colombian hitmaker at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, per Billboard. “I was nervous because I wanted to get next to her, but I was like, ‘I’m not gonna get next to her until they call me.’ I manifested it, but I didn’t know when it was coming.”
Shakira said, “I wanted to do something with Cardi. We were always discussing internally if it was a good idea to put someone on this song. I always pictured Cardi on this song. I reached out, and here we are.”
“It’s been so fun to work with you. It’s so easy, honestly. She’s like, ‘I’ll do everything.’ I’m like, ‘Are you ready to work long hours? Because I work long hours.’ She’s like, ‘I’ll be there from 6 to 6 a.m.,’ ” the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer said.

Cardi was thrilled to get the call from Shakira. “I knew it. I knew this day would come. It came. God is good, Jesus,” she said.
“I don’t care if she wants me to meow — I’m doing it. I cannot wait. Seriously, that is my dream,” the “Up” hitmaker added.
“I always look at your videos,” Cardi went on, noting to Shakira, “And it’s so crazy doing a video with you because all of your videos, you could just tell you take your time from the angle, to the dancing, to the things that pop.”
