Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, just experienced a terrible incident when his private plane had a technical problem mid-flight.

 The Sun reported that the actor and former WWE wrestler was forced to return to Hawaii instead of continuing his journey to Houston, Texas, USA due to a serious hydraulic problem. In a message to fans on social media, The Rock shared his feelings of anxiety but also gratitude for landing safely.

Johnson said that about 35-40 minutes after takeoff, the main pilot, Captain David, came to him and informed him of the technical problem.

“He got down on one knee, faced me and said, ‘Mr. Johnson, I’m sorry to inform you that we can’t continue flying over the ocean,'” The Rock recounted.

The pilot explained that the hydraulic problem due to overheating was a risk that could not be risked while flying over the ocean, forcing them to return to Hawaii to ensure safety.

Sitting alone on the plane during that tense moment, The Rock said he had time to reflect on what’s really important in life.

“When you’re alone with a drink, praying that everything will go back to normal, you realize the little things you worry about every day really don’t matter,” he shared.

After landing safely, The Rock expressed his gratitude to the pilot, God and the universe for bringing him back to earth safely. However, he also expressed regret at not being able to attend the inaugural game of the United Football League (UFL) – the league he co-founded.

On Twitter, Johnson wrote: “I’m sad that I can’t make it to Texas but also grateful that we were able to land the plane safely. So sorry to the fans of @TheUFL, players, coaches, staff and our teams at @FOXSports @espn that I won’t be there. Wishing everyone a great, fun and explosive opening weekend of Season 2!”

The incident forced The Rock to postpone his schedule, but luckily he was safe and continued his journey afterwards.
