Mission: Impossible’ actor Alec Baldwin crashed his car into a tree on the side of the road while traveling with his younger brother, causing severe damage to the front of his wife’s luxury SUV.

The accident happened on the afternoon of October 13 in the Hamptons area. The strong collision caused the white Range Rover’s roof to be deformed. According to Page Six , Alec Baldwin , 67, was in the car with his younger brother – actor Stephen Baldwin ( Justin Bieber’s father-in-law ).

At the scene, Alec was seen standing listlessly next to the wrecked car. Stephen Baldwin stood beside his brother when police officers arrived. Neither appeared to be injured.

Hours later, Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to talk about the accident. The actor reassured fans that he and his brother were fine. Alec explained that a huge garbage truck suddenly cut in front of his car, forcing him to swerve to avoid a collision and unfortunately hit a tree.

However, Alec felt guilty about denting his wife’s car. “I dented the front of her car and I felt bad,” he said. The actor later expressed his love for his wife, yoga instructor Hilaria.

According to the Hollywood star, he is in the Hamptons with his brother for a film festival.
