Rihanna Radiates Glamour in Vintage Cover Shoot: Dazzling in Off-the-Shoulder Rose Bolero and Gold Claws for GARAGE

The September issue of GARAGE Magazine had Rihanna on the cover.

Model moment: Rihanna graced the cover of Garage's September issue, looking stunning in a series of very fashionable ensembles

The 30-year-old artist looked ravishing in a number of retro costumes, such as an off-the-shoulder rose bolero worn with lace-up Dolce & Gabbana shorts.

Claws: Every look, none more beautiful than the rest, centered around Rihanna's lengthy gold nails by Jenny Longworth

The stylist for the photo shoot, Carlos Nazario, tried to outfit Rihanna in “unexpected” items.

Carlos Nazario, the shoot's stylist, aimed to dress Rihanna in 'unexpected' pieces. 'I love the color,' he said in reference to the pink blouse. 'I¿m sure when people see that rose bolero, they will be thinking, "what's that"'

Her comfort zone, in my opinion, is pushing it. Nazario told the outlet, “I don’t think she feels comfortable when she feels like she’s worn it before.”

“I believe that when she wears something that kind of feels unexpected, she gets excited and often feels the most powerful and beautiful.”

Pretty in pink: The Work singer also posed in a feathery, Alexander McQueen gown

“I thought it was kind of boring for her to wear stuff that she probably already knows,” he said. “I like to always include vintage items because there is an entire world of clothing that people are unaware of.”

'I felt like it wasn't that exciting for her to only wear things that I'm sure she's familiar with,' Carlos explained. 'I always like to incorporate vintage pieces, because it's a whole world of clothing that people haven't seen'

Jenny Longworth’s long gold nails on Rihanna were the focal point of every appearance, none more exquisite than the others.

For almost five years, Jenny has served as the Fenty Beauty mogul’s manicurist.

'I think her comfort zone is to push it, right? I don't think she feels comfortable when she feels like she's worn it before,' Nazario told the publication. 'I think when she gets excited, and when she often feels the most beautiful and the most powerful, is when she's wearing something that kinda feels unexpected'

In her second and most colourful outfit, Rihanna wore a blue Gucci metallic shirt with a yellow ball skirt from the 1960s.

The Work singer also posed in a Valentino jumpsuit with a huge, fiery pink bow and a fluffy, pink Alexander McQueen gown.

David White handled set design, and photographer Deana Lawson was in charge of the camera.
