A Hollywood film producer has confirmed that he is willing to pay Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie $60 million if the two stars put aside their differences to work together on his film.
Producer Danny Rossner said he will pay the former star couple a huge salary to star in the film The Hotel Martinez – a love story set at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes, France during World War II.

“I think Brad Pitt is currently getting $20 to $25 million per film and Angelina Jolie is getting $15 million. We’re willing to pay them 50 percent more than their usual salaries,” Danny Rossner told the New York Post. This means Brad will receive $37.5 million and Angelina will pocket more than $22 million if they agree to participate in the project.
Producers have targeted Brad Pitt to play Emmanuel Martinez, the hotel’s owner, and Brad’s ex-wife has been cast as Emma Digard, Martinez’s glamorous lover and muse. Danny says there will be a steamy love scene between the two characters based on the true story of the playboy hotel owner.
When it was pointed out that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were still in a tense lawsuit and did not even want to meet in a room, let alone film a “hot” scene together, the producer explained that the script could be adjusted accordingly.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were once famous for the movie ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’.
Danny Rossner, a filmmaker whose films include 2001: A Space Travesty and The Ultimate Weapon , says he is serious about his proposal and has raised about $60 million from backers. Danny hopes the money will be enough to convince the Smiths to put aside their differences and work together for the love of acting.
However, this is believed to be impossible. Evidence of the rift between the two A-list stars was revealed in September when the Venice Film Festival organisers had to ensure that Brad and Angelina’s films were shown on separate dates.
The festival’s artistic director, Alberto Barbera, revealed that he had scheduled Angelina Jolie’s Maria to premiere on August 29 while Brad Pitt’s Wolfs premiered on September 1. “There’s no way they could have met at Venice Lido,” Alberto told Vanity Fair.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004. The two stars went public with their relationship in 2005 and were together until 2016. Before their divorce, they starred together in By the Sea (2015), which Angelina directed. After 8 years of separation, the former couple has not yet finalized their divorce, and Brad is suing Angelina over a disagreement over the sale of their French estate.
