Actress Dakota Johnson dated singer Chris Martin in Mumbai on January 17, after months of not being seen together.

The pair were photographed holding hands and smiling as they strolled through India, where Chris Martin is currently touring with his band Coldplay. In the photos , the 47-year-old singer was seen wearing a casual outfit, including a T-shirt, sweatpants and a baseball cap. Dakota Johnson was also seen wearing a simple black midi dress, a sweater wrapped around her waist and sneakers. The 35-year-old smiled and waved at the camera.

Last summer, there were rumors that Dakota and Chris had split after seven years together because the stars were no longer together. However, a source said that the two were just focusing on work and balancing their personal lives with their careers. “They’ve had some issues in the past, but things are going great now,” the insider said.

The 50 Shades actress and the Coldplay singer have been dating since fall 2017. They made their first public appearance at the Stella McCartney fashion show in January 2018. In March 2024, multiple sources revealed that the couple had secretly gotten engaged but were in no rush to get married.

Chris Martin went through a failed marriage with Iron Man actress Gwyneth Paltrow, divorcing in 2014. He and his ex-wife have two children together, Apple, 20, and Mose, 18. Gwyneth and her two children love and are close to Dakota Johnson.
