But Taylor Swift ensured all eyes would be on her at the TommyNow show at New York Fashion Week on Friday, as she made a glamorous arrival in a pair of thigh high red boots.
Clad in Gigi Hadid’s new collection with Tommy Hilfiger, the 26-year-old songstress wowed in her ensemble, whilst Victoria’s Secret Angel Martha Hunt opted for a pair of unusual billowing trousers.
Taylor looked fabulous in the ensemble that featured a sailor-style long-sleeve shirt with v-nck and navy blue piping.
It was paired with a navy culotte shirts embroidered with gold thread at the waist and that had gold buttons and piping at the front.
She wore her blonde bobbed hair in a tousled style with a side parting and paired her boots with a matching splash of dark red lip color.
Martha, 27, channeled the carnival parade-theme for the TOMMYxGIGI showcase held at Pier 16.
She wore cropped wide-legged red and blue striped pants and a cotton shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the collar left unbuttoned.
She added black ankle boots with red and silver stars on the toe and matched her BFF Taylor’s hair style, leaving her longer locks loose.
Heading out to the show, Taylor and Martha Snapchatted with fans as they joked about coordinating their nail polish for the evening.
They then yelled excitedly: ‘Gigi we’re coming for you, it’s your fashion show! We’re excited!’
Taylor and Martha then seated themselves in the front row so they’d have direct access to their friend.
