Blake Lively is reportedly threatening to leak Taylor Swift’s private text messages if the singer doesn’t publicly support her amid her lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni. This shocking information was stated by Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Byan Freedman, in a letter sent to Judge Lewis J. Liman on May 14. In the letter, lawyer Byan claimed to have received information from a reliable source and that anonymous source said that Blake Lively asked Taylor Swift to delete the messages they had exchanged related to the movie It Ends With Us.

Byan also claims that Blake Lively’s attorney contacted Taylor Swift’s attorney to “request that Ms. Swift provide a statement in support of Ms. Lively, indicating that if Ms. Swift refused to do so, private messages held by Ms. Lively would be made public.” According to Bryan, Taylor’s attorney sent a written statement to Blake Lively’s side to address the issue.
Attorney Byan said Blake Lively’s request was similar to threatening and coercing witnesses, destroying evidence in the lawsuit between the actress and Justin Baldoni. Therefore, Justin’s side wants Taylor Swift to appear in court to testify. Justin previously claimed that the 35-year-old pop superstar was asked by her close friend, Blake Lively, to intervene in the production of the movie It Ends With Us.
However, Blake Lively’s legal team denied this information, asserting that the information written in the letter was completely false, baseless and unnecessary. They said that this letter was only intended to make scandalous accusations, defaming Lively as well as the Gossip Girl actress’s lawyer .
Taylor Swift has yet to respond to the letter. Last week, Taylor Swift was officially subpoenaed as a witness in the lawsuit between Blake and Justin. Taylor Swift’s rep objected to the subpoena from Justin’s attorney, explaining that the singer had no connection to the film It Ends With Us other than allowing her song ” My Tears Ricochet ” to be used on the soundtrack.
Previously, in the lawsuit, Justin Baldoni – director and lead actor of the movie It Ends With Us – wrote that Taylor Swift was involved in more than just licensing one of her songs for this film. Justin accused Blake Lively of bringing Taylor Swift into the picture while trying to change the script to put pressure on him. According to Justin, when Blake called him to the actress’s apartment in New York to discuss a scene she rewrote, he felt pressured when Blake’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, was there and Taylor Swift also appeared. After the meeting, Blake sent Justin a text message, describing Taylor and Ryan as “dragons” protecting her.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni began their legal battle in December of last year, when Lively filed an 80-page complaint accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on set and creating a hostile work environment, and defaming her. However, Justin countersued Blake Lively, her husband, and publicist Leslie Sloane, seeking $400 million in damages for defamation. Justin also accused Blake of using his power in the entertainment industry to oppress him during the filming of the film.
The lawsuit, scheduled to go to court in March 2026, has attracted public attention and divided public opinion with many conflicting opinions. A source revealed to Page Six that the lawsuit has also caused tension in Blake Lively’s relationship with her close friend Taylor Swift. The 35-year-old singer is said to feel that her friend is taking advantage of her name and is upset that she was accidentally dragged into this bad story.
