The Paris Saint-Germain player’s exciting summer has continued as he touched down in Japan on Monday evening.
The forward was with LeBron James and delivered the opening pitch at a LA Dodgers game during his week-long stay in Los Angeles.
And he appeared happy as hundreds of admirers welcomed him at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
It is looking increasingly likely that the Mbappe will get the ‘main man’ role he has been looking for in Paris next season with Neymar closing in on a sensational return to Barcelona.
After winning the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award last month, Mbappe said: ‘This is a very important moment for me. I am arriving at the second turning point in my career. I have discovered an enormous amount of things here.
‘It is maybe the moment to have more responsibilities, maybe at PSG, with pleasure, or elsewhere for a new project. In any case thanks everyone!’

As Mbappe passed through the terminal, he was met by hundreds of supporters.
And it appears like he might have more given that fellow superstar Neymar is increasingly likely to return to his previous team.
According to recent French sources, the 27-year-old believes his future lies elsewhere and PSG will allow him to leave if the right deal comes up.
Barcelona has reportedly held discussions with senior PSG executives and is optimistic that a deal can be reached for Neymar to return this summer, according to Globe Sports.

They also claim that PSG have requested a player-plus-cash deal and set a fee in the region of £90million.
The players that will be included in the deal are yet to be decided, but Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti have all been mentioned as strong possibilities.
Neymar, who is currently out injured after damaging the ligaments in his ankle earlier this month, only left Barcelona for PSG in 2017 in a world-record £198m deal.
