Jennifer Aniston shared that she met Angelina Jolie for the first time right before she discovered the ‘Maleficent’ actress was cheating on her with Brad Pitt.

Jennifer Aniston married actor Brad Pitt in 2001 and the two finalized their divorce in October 2005. In January 2006, Angelina Jolie unexpectedly announced that she was expecting her first child with Brad Pitt. She and Brad Pitt are said to have fallen in love while working together on the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith , filmed in 2004.

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she met Angelina Jolie for the first and only time just before the actress and Brad Pitt began filming the hit film. The Friends star said that looking back, she almost predicted Brad Pitt’s ” secret ” affair.

Speaking to Vanity Fair , Jennifer Aniston said she once met Angelina Jolie in the parking lot of the Friends set : “I stopped my car and introduced myself. I told Angelina Jolie: Brad is very excited to work with you. I hope and wish you two will have a really good time.”

However, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s tumultuous relationship did not end well. The couple filed for divorce in 2016 and have been in legal disputes ever since.

In a recent statement, Angelina Jolie’s lawyer, Mr. James Simon, said: “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and her children left all assets they shared with Brad Pitt and since then, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just part of a long, ongoing process that began eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved that this part is over.”
