Kylian Mbappe could check his options before choosing to go to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid seems more excited than ever to sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG. Many reports suggest the Spanish giants and Mbappe are in constant contact with each other. Both parties seem determined to get a deal done for the summer.
Mbappe’s contract with PSG is set to expire this summer, and the player has reportedly decided to leave the French club for free. Mbappe is determined to get the deal done with Real Madrid and join the club on a free transfer. Many sources claim that Real Madrid will offer a wage far less than the one he currently earns at PSG. Real Madrid would like Mbappe to take a pay cut to join the club. Mbappe reportedly makes around 61 million euros a year with a weekly salary of 1.1 million euros. Mbappe would have to half his wages in order to join Real Madrid next season.
PSG will still try to offer Mbappe a new contract at the end of the season. According to Diario AS, PSG has made an offer to extend Mbappé’s contract for two seasons at €80m per year. Mbappe could be persuaded to stay longer at PSG if Real Madrid does not offer him more than the current players in the squad. The highest earner at Real Madrid is Toni Kroos, who earns around 24 million euros a year. Kroos could leave Madrid in the summer as his contract runs out at the end of the season. Kroos is unsure whether to retire or continue playing with Real Madrid next season. Mbappe would like to earn more than two players specifically.
Kylian Mbappe would like to earn more than Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid
Diario AS reports that Kylian Mbappe’s idea is to go to Real Madrid, but if the offer is not higher than what Bellingham or Vinicius earn, he could stay in Paris. Bellingham and Vinicus reportedly earn 20 million euros a year. Mbappe is willing to take a pay cut to join but doesn’t want to take a pay cut lower than that amount.
