There is nothing out there quite like WrestleMania.
What used to be the biggest night of the year for wrestling has been shaped in recent years into a two-night show difficult for fans to miss.
Tonight, WrestleMania 39 keeps all its fans busy as the spectacle kicks off from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The first night comes with a bit of a surprise as John Cena is set to kick off the event. The 45-year-old was challenged to a match by reigning US Champion Austin Theory earlier in March, which he somehow accepted.
Cena returned to WWE a few months after defeating Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in tag team action. It is already pretty evident that the 16-time World Champion was scheduled to face Logan Paul at WrestleMania in 2022. Still, WWE steered away from the idea, landing on Theory as Cena’s opponent.
