Behind every head-turning celebrity red carpet look, is a genius stylist bringing the vision to life.
On Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter honored its 2024 class of Power Stylists with a glamorous party in L.A. attended by the industry’s most stylish stars and their wardrobe pros.
Leading the pack were Demi Moore and Cardi B who were dates to their respective collaborators, Brad Goreski and Kollin Carter. Both Goreski and Carter made this year’s power list for their work.
The Feud: Capote vs. The Swans actress, 61, made a high-fashion statement in a bold, white Schiaparelli design featuring a gold eye halter neckline pendant which matched her gold Christian Louboutin heels and Pomellato bracelet. Her hair was styled in waist-length waves while her glam was kept natural.
In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Goreski said of Moore: “I’ve been working with Demi since 2008. I think what we do together is sophisticated and sexy. She has an impressive knowledge of fashion history, which makes dressing her fun,” adding, “She’s an icon.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 31, wore a sexy halter-neck dress that accentuated her décolletage, as well as her waist with its side cutouts. She wore her hair in a beehive updo with face-framing pieces. She accessorized with a diamond bracelet by Robert Procop.
Carter spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the “cultural shift” he and Cardi B have stirred with their boundary-breaking looks. “I don’t think there were many women like Cardi who existed in the fashion space. Now there are a ton of other rap females who aspire to be in that space because they see what’s possible. We set trends.”
