Chloe Moretz is putting the brakes on her hectic work schedule after splitting from Brooklyn Beckham.
The 19-year-old Kick Ass star has dropped all her future film projects, saying she needs to “slow down”.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter at the Deauville American Film Festival, Chloe explained: “I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again.”
Chloe, who already has a whopping 55 film credits to her name, added she had a “Come to Jesus” moment.
She continued: “I’m realizing that I can slow down.”
Chloe has still got a busy few months ahead, which will see her wrap two unnamed TV projects. She will also hit the promo trail for ‘November Criminals’ and thriller ‘Brain on Fire’.
Chloe’s decision to step away from the limelight comes after her split from Brooklyn and her high-profile social media spat with Kim Kardashian.
Appearing to address the feud, Chloe said: “I think I gave my attention to people who don’t deserve my attention.
“In some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, (though) I don’t regret what I said.”
The pair clashed earlier this year when the teenager criticised Kim, 35, over her raunchy naked selfie.
Unimpressed with the bathroom snap, the young actress joined the liked of Bette Milder in criticising Kim on Twitter, writing at the time: ”@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than… our bodies.”
Mrs West immediately fired back, saying: “let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.”
Previously speaking about why she spoke out against Kim, Chloe told Mirror Celeb: “That picture wasn’t linked to body confidence. It was done in a slightly voyeuristic light, which I felt was a little inappropriate for young women to see.”
