A viral video captured the scene of actress Nicole Kidman pushing away colleague Salma Hayek’s hand when asked to take a photo at a fashion show in Paris.

In the video, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman and Katy Perry stood next to each other in the front row and seemed to be preparing to leave. When the photographer asked to take another photo, Salma turned Nicole – whose back was facing the lens – to take a photo together. At that moment, the Australian actress pushed Salma’s hand away.

Nicole Kidman turned to kiss Katy Perry, exchanged a few words with Salma and then left. Quite confused, Salma said: “Yes, please advise.” Nicole allegedly replied, “You don’t need it,” and Salma replied, “I do.”

Salma Hayek then took a photo with Katy Perry – the singer looked very enthusiastic about the photo shoot.

Representatives for Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman currently refuse to comment on this tense situation. On social networks, many people commented that Nicole had a rude attitude towards her colleagues. However, another opinion suggests that Nicole Kidman may not like being touched.

The video was filmed at the Balenciaga show during Paris fashion week on September 30. During the show, Nicole Kidman sat next to billionaire François-Henri Pinault – Salma Hayek’s husband, while the Grown Up actress sat next to her husband.

After the event, Salma Hayek posted a set of photos promoting the show on Instagram, including separate photos with Nicole Kidman and Katy Perry. However, Dailymail commented that Nicole and Salma seemed uncomfortable in the photo.

This event marked the first time Nicole Kidman appeared in public since her mother passed away in early September. Nicole announced her mother’s death on September 7, right at the closing ceremony of the Venice Film Festival. She won the Best Actress award for her role in Babygirl but was unable to receive the award because she rushed back to Australia to mourn her mother. “My brave and beautiful mother just passed away. I was very shocked and had to quickly return to my family. However, I want to dedicate this award to my mother,” Kidman wrote in a letter to the audience.
