On October 25, Page Six confirmed that Victoria and David Beckham purchased a luxurious $80 million waterfront villa on North Bay Road, Miami Beach, Florida, USA.
The modern home, designed by architect Choeff Levy Fischman, includes nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, four half bathrooms (with sinks and toilets only), a gym and spa, and a private movie theater.

The area where the villa is located is famous for being home to super-rich families who value quality of life and privacy.
Unfortunately, the Beckhams failed to ensure this, causing them to lose favor with their neighbors just days after moving in.
Celebrities and the super-rich often choose to set up an LLC when they want to buy a house to hide their address. For example, if a star sets up an LLC registered at a law firm on 6th Avenue in New York City and the LLC buys a house in Miami, the address listed on the documents will be that of the law firm, not the house. This procedure helps the star keep their whereabouts a secret.
However, for some reason, Mr. and Mrs. Becks bought the expensive villa the traditional way – under their real names.
Now, locals claim the area is packed with fans, paparazzi and other curious onlookers, who can easily find the celebrity couple’s address by looking it up in the phone book.
“The whole world is driving by, the paparazzi are there, the house is all over the web and the neighbors are worried about safety. They wish the Beckhams hadn’t used their real names. Miami isn’t Beverly Hills. There are a lot of private, low-profile families here. They don’t want unnecessary public attention,” an insider said.

Shakira and Bee Gees star Barry Gibb are said to own property in the area. It’s unclear whether they’re among the troublesome neighbours, but they’re clearly not causing any trouble for their neighbours.
Representatives for Victoria and David Beckham have not commented on the incident.
This is not the first time the Beckhams have had trouble with their neighbours. In July 2023, they faced opposition from residents in Oxfordshire, England, when they applied for planning permission for a new road leading to their private Cotswolds mansion in Great Tew, Oxfordshire. Neighbours lodged a complaint on the grounds that the new road would cut across a public footpath.
In 2020, Mr and Mrs Becks were criticised by locals for wanting to build a large artificial lake on their Cotswold estate. Neighbours condemned the famous couple for destroying the natural countryside.
