After Kim Sae Ron’s passing, a YouTuber (referred to as A) who had posted many videos exposing her private life became the center of attention.

According to Mr. Kwon Young-chan – Chairman of the Korean Association for the Prevention of “44” Artists – Kim Sae-ron’s father, his daughter had a breakdown because of videos from YouTuber A.

In particular, A posted content revealing that Kim Sae-ron worked part-time at a cafe, invading her privacy, causing the actress to be under a lot of pressure from public opinion.
After the 2022 driving incident, Kim Sae-ron still tried to make up for her mistakes, living a private life and working part-time to make a living. However, YouTuber A continuously questioned her repentance, causing the public to attack her more.
Immediately after Kim Sae-ron’s death, YouTuber A removed or made all related videos private. However, the comments section under other videos on A’s channel was flooded with criticism from netizens, condemning A for pushing the late actress into a deadlock.
In response to the incident, Kwon Min-ah – a former member of the group AOA – expressed her grief and anger on social media:
“Although we only knew each other for a short time, it was a precious encounter. Thank you, may you rest in peace.”

Min-ah also pointed out YouTuber A:
“I was once told nonsense about myself by that person. I was so scared that I didn’t dare to fight back, I could only cry. I thought I would collapse
I have endured for a long time, but this time I cannot stay silent. Sometimes you may tell the truth, but hurting others to attract views is unacceptable. Please think about the position and feelings of the person involved.”
Kim Sae-ron’s family considers legal action
Mr. Kwon Young-chan said that although the videos have been deleted, the Association is still collecting related documents. If Kim Sae-ron’s family decides to sue or file a complaint with the Press Arbitration Commission, the Association will provide free support. He emphasized:”A’s actions are not simply chasing views, but destroying a person’s life.”
