Recently, Kino – a member of the boy band PENTAGON – expressed his deep sadness and concerns after seeing off actress Kim Sae Ron. In his emotional post, the male idol also mentioned his late close friend Moonbin (ASTRO), and spoke out about the invisible pressures in the entertainment industry.

In just two years, Kino had to go to the same funeral home to say goodbye to two close friends. He choked up as he shared that Sae Ron probably missed Moonbin very much, and even though he hadn’t slept for almost two days, he still couldn’t sleep.
Kino’s post
“For the past two years, I have been sending off dear friends at the same funeral home.
Maybe Sae Ron missed Bin so much and wanted to see him again.
Even though I had barely slept, I still couldn’t close my eyes. But at least, fortunately, there were many people who came to see her off, giving the family great comfort.
How many more celebrities do we have to say goodbye to before this kind of thing stops? What we see is not what we see. No one should have to endure baseless speculation, twisted stories, or unjustified criticism just because they are famous.
I truly hope that these tragedies will never happen again.
Be happy there. You’ve worked hard,” Kino shared.

Kino’s sharing is not only a personal confession but also a warning bell about the worrying reality in Korean showbiz. Many young artists have to face loneliness, public pressure and mental trauma due to public scrutiny. They become victims of baseless rumors, media hype and unreasonable criticism.
Before passing away, Kim Sae Ron went to the rooftop and cried because of the late apology from a Korean reporter.

Kino’s question, “How many more stars do we have to say goodbye to before things like this stop?” startled many people.
The cases of Kim Sae Ron, Moonbin and many other artists are a long-standing problem in the Korean entertainment industry: the terrible psychological pressure that celebrities face. Not only is it the tight schedules or strict demands from management companies, but also the harshness from public opinion.
Many young stars have collapsed under the wave of attacks and unrealistic expectations. The bright smiles on stage do not reflect the pain they have to endure behind the flashy lights.
Kim Sae Ron’s funeral was held on February 19 at the Asan Hospital funeral home.
Closing his post, Kino sent a regretful message: “Be happy there, you’ve worked hard.” These words are not only for Sae Ron or Moonbin, but also a common message for all those who have suffered from the pain of fame and pressure.
Kim Sae Ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 16th.
The funeral was solemnly held on February 19 at the funeral home of Asan Hospital, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
According to the wishes of the family, all funeral procedures were held in private. The late artist will be laid to rest at the Unification Memorial Park, Paju, Gyeonggi.
