Brad Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, is said to have encouraged him to settle his nearly decade-long divorce from Angelina Jolie so the two can live together without any more problems.
A source revealed to Page Six : “Brad finally ended the divorce thanks to his girlfriend’s influence. Ines wants to have a life with Brad and have children in the future without having to think about the eight-year-long battle. She told Brad that life would be much more interesting if this was resolved.”

On December 30, 2024, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie agreed to sign divorce papers . According to People , Angelina and Brad had requested a jury to handle the divorce, which was expected to last 10 to 15 days. However, they later agreed to participate in mediation without going to court.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016 after two years of marriage. Since then, the Smiths have been locked in a bitter custody battle and other issues.
“Both parties have realized it’s time to move on and move on with their lives. It’s a win-win situation for both parties,” the source said. Angelina’s lawyer also said the actress “feels relieved that this is over,” as she has always wanted peace and healing for her family.

Brad Pitt, 61, has been dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 32, since late 2022. After keeping their relationship private for a while, they have been more comfortable appearing together this year. Brad and Ines made their red carpet debut in September 2024 at the Venice Film Festival in Italy.
Ines is said to be a positive influence on Brad Pitt and the Bullet Train star feels lucky to have a strong woman like her by his side. “Not only does Ines support Brad, she also supports him in legal matters and is not embarrassed to appear in public.”
Ines de Ramon was previously married to Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. She finalized her divorce from Paul in March 2024 after two years of separation. The couple had no children together after three years of marriage.
