Jennifer Lopez is said to have felt like salt was rubbed into her wound when she saw a photo of her recently divorced husband, actor Ben Affleck, hugging Jennifer Garner.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been spending a lot of time together lately, their intimate gestures have sparked suspicions that Ben wants to reunite with his ex-wife. A source revealed on Page Six that the images of the two laughing happily and Ben hugging Garner made Jennifer Lopez angry and confused.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck filed for divorce in August 2024 and finalized their divorce in February of this year. Last year, actress Jennifer Garner became an “unwilling marriage counselor” to try to reconcile her ex-husband and Lopez, but to no avail. Ben is said to have leaned on Garner and their three children to help him get through the divorce and has grown closer to her. The actor visits Garner’s home on all holidays and frequently goes out and does charity work with his ex-wife.
Another source said that Jennifer Lopez is not paying too much attention to Ben’s relationship with Jennifer Garner because she is currently focusing on her upcoming movie, Office Romance , and her personal life. J.Lo has several movie projects coming out earlier this year and she also just bought a new house after her divorce.

As for Garner, Dailymail quoted a source saying that the actress has no intention of getting back together with Ben and is afraid of falling in love with her ex-husband again because she has suffered a lot of pain in the past. People also reported that Jennifer Garner enjoys spending time with Ben Affleck but she only considers him a close friend. “They both feel that having a good relationship will benefit everyone, including themselves and their children,” the source explained.
Garner and Affleck married in 2005, separated in 2015, and finalized their divorce three years later. They share custody of their three children. Since 2018, the Alias actress has been dating businessman John Miller, who is four years her junior. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck was married to singer Jennifer Lopez from 2022 to 2024.
