Recently, the public was stirred by information from female writer and social media influencer, Ashley St. Clair, when she announced that she had given birth to billionaire Elon Musk’s 13th child 5 months ago. St. Clair said she initially kept this information private to protect her privacy and the safety of her child, but decided to go public after realizing that the tabloids intended to reveal it.
According to St. Clair, she and Musk began their relationship after interacting on social network X (formerly Twitter). The first meeting took place at X’s headquarters in San Francisco in mid-2023, when she was 24 years old and Musk was 51 years old. The relationship developed rapidly, leading to St. Clair becoming pregnant. She said she was asked to keep her pregnancy and birth a secret, even not including Musk’s name on the birth certificate to ensure privacy and safety.
However, after noticing harassment from some of Musk’s fans and concerns about her child’s safety, St. Clair decided to go public. She shared that she had tried to contact Musk for many days but received no response. Musk’s only response was a “Whoa” status on social network X, expressing shock at St. Clair’s statement.
St. Clair’s representative, attorney Brian Glicklich, said she and Musk had been privately discussing co-parenting for some time, but the process was interrupted by press interference. St. Clair hopes Musk will publicly acknowledge his role as father to end the speculation and protect their child’s rights.
Previously, Elon Musk had 12 children with three different women: 6 children with his first wife Justine Wilson, 3 children with singer Grimes and 3 children with Shivon Zilis, CEO of Neuralink. St. Clair’s announcement of giving birth to Musk’s child sparked much controversy and attracted international media attention.
