Actress Jessica Alba says she and her husband, film producer Cash Warren, have decided to part ways after nearly two decades together.
A week after rumors of their separation, Jessica Alba confirmed the news on Instagram on January 16. She wrote: “I have been on a journey of self-awareness and change for many years, both as an individual and in our relationship with Cash. I am proud of how we have grown in our marriage over the past 20 years and now it is time for us both to enter a new chapter of personal growth.”
The 42-year-old actress shared that she and Cash Warren will still love and respect each other and will always be a family. She puts her children first and maintains a friendly relationship with her husband after the breakup.

Previously, on January 8, TMZ reported that Jessica Alba and her husband were recently separated and preparing for divorce. Another source revealed to People that Jessica Alba had been struggling to keep the fire burning in her marriage over the years and that the couple had broken up because their feelings had faded, not because of conflict.
Jessica Alba and her husband took off their wedding rings last month. However, they still celebrated Christmas together and took their children to the park in early January. The Hollywood actress regularly posts pictures of the family together on Instagram.

Jessica and Cash Warren first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004, where Jessica played the lead role of Susan Storm and Cash was an assistant director. They got engaged in 2007 and married a year later in Beverly Hills. Jessica and Alba have three children together: daughter Honor, now 16, daughter Haven, 12, and son Hayes, 7.
