Demi Moore did not snub Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes 2025, with an insider stressing that she has ‘no ill will’ towards the lip kit mogul.
The actress, 62, found herself at the center of an online scandal after she appeared to ignore the reality star, 27, shortly after Demi scooped the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy prize for her part in The Substance.
In a now viral video, Demi sauntered over to Elle Fanning‘s table for a quick chat, but seemingly didn’t notice Kylie, who was seated beside her trying to capture the A-lister’s attention.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, a source stressed that there was no malicious intent, and that Demi didn’t actually notice Kylie. However, the insider did suggest the pair have ‘different values’.
‘Demi doesn’t know Kylie,’ the insider revealed, before adding that the pair have different values, and had not crossed paths before. ‘Demi raised her children in a much different manner than the Kardashians were raised, and they have different values.
‘Demi is an actress. Kylie was there because she is dating Timothée Chalamet. Demi respects Timothée and admires his talent. It was not a snub though.

‘She simply didn’t even acknowledge her presence.’
Demi’s daughter Tallulah Willis also shut down rumors that her mom had snubbed Kylie, instead claiming that the actress simply hadn’t seen the beauty mogul.
Writing in a statement posted on her Instagram Story, she said: ‘There was no snub of any sort.
‘Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!’
And it seems as though there has never been any beef between Demi or Kylie.
Last Halloween, Kylie impersonated Demi as she recreated her iconic Striptease look from the 1996 film.
She also went completely nude to reinvent the movie’s famous theatrical release poster.
Demi also seemed to be a fan of Kylie’s costume and even reshared the looks on her Instagram Story, alongside the captions ‘love this’ and ‘nailed it’.
Despite the awkward encounter on Sunday night, it was a huge night for Demi, who finally picked up a Golden Globe having been nominated four times throughout her career.
She revealed in her teary acceptance speech that she was called a ‘popcorn actress’ 30 years ago – a comment she said ‘corroded’ her.
Speaking on stage, she said: ‘Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a popcorn actress.
‘At that time I made that mean that this wasn’t something that I was allowed to have, that I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged.

Her daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, were left emotional after their mother garnered her first major acting award since starting her career in the 1980s.
After stepping onto the stage, Demi was greeted by applause from the celebrity guests and admitted, ‘Wow, I really wasn’t expecting that.’
‘I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor.’
‘I’m just so humbled and so grateful.’
