José de la Torre, star of the hit Netflix series ‘Toy Boy’, has died at the age of 37 after battling a mysterious illness.

According to  Montilla Digital  , José de la Torre passed away on December 5 and the funeral was held a day later in his hometown in the province of Córdoba, Spain. The actor left behind his parents and his younger sister.

The cause of Jose de la Torre’s death has not been announced, but the actor revealed in June that he had been diagnosed with a serious illness. The battle with his health has caused Jose to withdraw from all activities since then. The last photo he posted on Instagram was on June 4 during his vacation in the Canary Islands. A month earlier, he still attended the Cannes Film Festival in France.

José de la Torre was born in 1987, he is a model and actor in Spain. He is best known for his role as Ivan in the television series  Toy Boy  , which aired for two seasons from 2019 to 2021. Spanish crime thriller, about a stripper desperate to prove her innocence after being imprisoned for the murder case, which gave her a fever. on Netflix.

The actor graduated from the Escuela Superior de Artes Escénicas de Málaga in Spain and worked as a model before acting. He began his acting career in the film  Serve and Protect  in 2017. His other films include  Vis a Vis: El Oasis  and  Amar es para siempre  released in 2020.

Upon hearing the news of José de la Torre’s death, many of his bandmates were shocked and saddened. Singer Pablo Alborán wrote on Instagram: “I can’t believe you’re gone so soon. Truly heartbreaking! My deepest condolences to your family and friends. We will never forget you, José. Wherever you are, I’m sure you’re with us. We’re wearing a Hawaiian shirt, a big mustache, and the same sunglasses we wore that day.”

Spanish actress Lolita Flores, 66, spoke at the funeral of the unfortunate actor: “It hurts me to think that I will never hear your voice again, but I will still continue talking to you.” José.
