Rapper Jay-Z, husband of singer Beyonce, vehemently denies accusations that he and Diddy sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
According to a lawsuit filed in New York on December 8, Jay-Z is named as a defendant along with rapper Diddy for raping a teenage girl at a music awards after-party. The anonymous plaintiff said she drank something that made her dizzy and had to find an empty room to rest. She said that was when Diddy rushed into the room with a “crazy look in his eyes” along with Jay-Z and a female celebrity. The lawsuit describes Jay-Z raping the girl, then Diddy raping her while the female celebrity watched.

The lawsuit, which was first filed in October but then named only Diddy as a defendant, is represented by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee.
Jay-Z responded to the lawsuit shortly after being informed. The rapper claimed the allegations were completely fabricated, calling it an extortion attempt and calling attorney Tony Buzbee a “scam.”
“My attorney received an attempted extortion, called a demand letter, from an ‘attorney’ named Tony Buzbee. These allegations are false, calculated by him,” Jay-Z told the media.
According to CNN , Jay-Z said these allegations have affected his family and his wife and children. The rapper, who has three children with Beyonce, is worried that his eldest daughter’s friends will read the news and question the nature of these allegations.

Jay-Z also asserted that anyone who abuses a minor is so cruel that they deserve to be locked up and that lawyers should file criminal complaints instead of civil ones. The rapper said he supports real victims around the world and has always been an advocate for children.
Diddy’s lawyer also denied the accusation, saying that this was an extortion lawsuit and a PR stunt by lawyer Tony. The lawyer said Diddy has never sexually assaulted anyone and the truth will be revealed in court. Diddy – the 54-year-old “rap kingpin” – is currently being held in a prison in Brooklyn, New York on charges of sex trafficking, extortion and soliciting prostitution.

After Jay-Z and Diddy’s lawyers came out to criticize him, attorney Tony Buzbee wrote on Instagram that he would never be intimidated by the slander and harassment. Tony posted a photo of himself in the Marine Corps and said he would not let anyone intimidate him or his clients.
Tony Buzbee is now representing several anonymous people suing Diddy for sexual assault.
