Early on the morning of November 1 (local time), a shooting took place in downtown Orlando, Florida, USA during the Halloween festival, causing panic among residents.
Videos circulating online showed people running for safety as gunshots rang out and police cars flooded the streets.

At least two people were killed and six others were injured in the shooting, police said, adding that a teenage suspect had been arrested.
Orlando police did not disclose a motive for the shooting but said the gunman appeared to be very cautious. The suspect walked past several officers while holding a handgun and entered the crowd.
The unnamed 17-year-old suspect has a criminal record and was arrested in 2023 for theft of property, police confirmed.
The injured were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and are now in stable condition, police said.
