Police say Michelle Goodman is accused of seducing and using her power to force a male inmate to resume sexual encounters between them.
Michelle Goodman, 31, was arrested on October 16 for convincing a 23-year-old inmate to record their sexual encounters in a bathroom at Green Hill School in Chehalis, a correctional center for young offenders.
Prosecutors said the female guard was also captured on surveillance video taking the victim to the staff locker area on two separate occasions in January 2024, according to court documents.
Chehalis police opened an investigation after receiving a report that a female prison guard was having a relationship with a male inmate. Investigators contacted the inmate’s attorney and were provided with multiple screenshots of the two having sex, more than once.

Green Hill School is also being sued by the inmate, alleging that Michelle used her power to coerce him.
The lawsuit alleges that “Michelle Goodman repeatedly requested to be filmed while having sex,” and that the inmate feared retribution and harm if she refused the request.
This is the second time Michelle has been arrested this year for alleged misconduct at the correctional facility. She was previously arrested in March for starting a fight between two teenage inmates and was caught on security camera laughing and mimicking punches with other inmates. Michelle was charged with causing a prison disturbance, abuse of power and attempted fourth-degree assault.
Police say Michelle is now the fifth person they have arrested at the facility this year and the third to face sexual misconduct charges.
Court records show Michelle was released on $100,000 bail on October 17.
