Ashton Kutcher is allegedly worried about what Sean “Diddy” Combs would say about his celebrity friends after the rapper’s recent arrest and sex crime charges.
According to reports, the actor was never involved in Diddy’s “freak offs” but fears that his association with the embattled music mogul may drag him into the investigation.
Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, recently shared that he will not accept a plea deal if prosecutors offer it, as the rapper is bent on proving his innocence in court.
Ashton Kutcher ‘Regrets’ Diddy Friendship Amid Arrest
According to the Daily Mail, the “Two and a Half Men” alum has concerns over the possibility of Diddy lying to authorities about some of his famous friends in a bid to free himself from his legal troubles.
The “Bad Boy For Life” rapper is currently held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he awaits trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
A source told the news outlet that Kutcher, who has been friends with Diddy for over two decades, is quite apprehensive that he could “say anything, do anything or turn on anyone” to get out of jail.
“Ashton absolutely regrets his friendship with Diddy considering what has happened,” an insider shared. “He feels lied to, betrayed, taken for granted, and manipulated.”
The source continued, “He feels the same way about Danny Masterson. He now trusts no one except for his wife Mila [Kunis]. He is going to keep his circle to his family.”
Kutcher and his wife came under fire in October 2023 after they shared letters supporting Masterson, in which they asked the judge to show leniency to the actor before he was sentenced to 30 years for raping two women in 2003.
The Actor Fears The Possibility Of The Rapper ‘Making Up False Allegations’
Having gone through Masterson’s scrutiny, Kutcher is seemingly aware that his ties to Diddy could mean he’ll also have to answer a question or two in his criminal indictment investigations.
According to the Daily Mail, the insider said that Kutcher has “fears about how this investigation will play out” and that he feels like the rapper “would have no problem lying” to prosecutors and “tossing out some of his famous friend’s names if it meant it could get him out of jail.”
“Diddy could say anything, do anything, or turn on anyone at this point,” the source continued. “Everyone who is close to Diddy fears the possibility of Diddy making up false allegations to clear his own name.”
“He does not want to get involved in this but knows that his association means he already is,” the insider shared. “If he gets contacted by the authorities, he will be fully cooperative as he has nothing to hide.”
Ashton Kutcher Did Not Attend Diddy’s ‘Freak Offs’
The source further cleared the “Killers” actor from any suspicions that he may have attended one of Diddy’s “freak offs,” where he allegedly forced and coerced women to engage in sex and would often record them.
The insider claimed that Kutcher was seemingly left unimpressed with Diddy when a 2016 hotel surveillance footage surfaced of him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura.
“Ashton knows that he dug himself a hole with this one, but never in a million years did he believe that Diddy was truly doing these horrible things,” the insider said, per the Daily Mail.
“They had a genuine friendship,” the source added. “But when Ashton and Mila saw the video of Cassie, they realized that he was a monster and not someone they want in their life.”
A Video Of Ashton Kutcher Talking About Diddy’s Party Resurfaced
Shortly after Diddy’s arrest, a resurfaced video of Kutcher discussing his friendship with the rapper and his now-infamous parties went viral on social media.
In the clip, Kutcher admitted that a lot went down at Diddy’s parties but remained coy about the specific details.
For a moment, Kutcher seemed tempted to reveal a detail about the parties but stopped short, saying, “Can’t tell that one either… I’m cycling through them.”

However, he did admit that the rapper’s parties were “weird,” though he didn’t specify which ones or how many he had attended.
Kutcher also shared how his friendship with Diddy began, recalling that they first met back in 2003 when he was still hosting the MTV show “Punk’d.” That initial encounter eventually led to them bonding over sports.
“We just became fast friends, and we used to just hang out and watch football together,” Kutcher recalled, adding, “He just can’t lose.”
The Rapper Will Not Take A Plea Deal If One Is Offered To Him
Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has revealed that his client would not accept a plea deal in his trial as he insists that he’s innocent of the charge. Accepting a plea deal would seemingly come with conditions, amongst which could be Kutcher’s fears of ratting out his famous friends.
“It’s not up to me. It’s up to Mr. Combs, and I don’t see it happening because he believes he’s innocent,” Agnifilo said on TMZ‘s new Diddy docuseries. “And what’s more, he believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself — for his family and for everybody who’s been targeted by the federal government.”
“He feels an obligation to those people to say, ‘You know what, maybe I can break the model. Maybe I can show the world that a Black man can win in federal court,'” he continued. “And I think he probably is the only person I know of who might be able to actually accomplish that goal.”
