The highly anticipated WrestleMania 39 didn’t fail to deliver some classics during its first night and fans are agitated for the second night of Wrestling’s biggest event. But apart from several classics, John Cena’s match with Austin Theory wasn’t exactly the fan favorite especially due to its controversial ending. Following a refereeing mistake, Austin Theory was able to deliver a low blow to Cena and hit him with his A-Town Down finisher to retain the United States Championship.
Even though it was well expected that Cena was there to put Theory over and give him a boost, the ending didn’t sit well with the fans. Although the match did appear like Cena’s final match as a WWE superstar, fans aren’t ready to say their goodbyes yet.
Although the win against John Cena will give a massive boost to Austin Theory, however, fans aren’t ready to say their goodbyes to the former WWE champion yet. Considering that Cena got a little emotional while performing his Five Knuckle Shuffle in the match, some fans have been speculating that it might have been his last match.
However many fans have refused to believe that it might be Cena’s final in-ring performance. As they believe WWE should bring Cena back for one final title run and break Ric Flair’s record of 16-time world champion.
Not his last match at all lol, wwe is going promote the hell out of his last match

Definitely not his last. There’s no way WWE would make him jerk the curtain. His last match will most likely be for title, trying to break the record. Either way, they’ll make a much bigger deal out of it.

But even though Cena may not be in his prime to continue wrestling each week. It’s reasonable to assume that WWE might give the Peacemaker star another chance to hold the World title for one more time before officially saying the Arena goodbye.

John Cena will keep on wrestling as long as he can keep the fans entertained
Reflecting on his future in the realm of wrestling, John Cena previously expressed his thoughts regarding retirement. Even though he might not be in his prime, Cena shared that as long as he can pull off great matches and keep the crowd entertained, he will there in WWE. He said,
“That’s another interesting conversation with myself. If physically, I’m slower, I’ve said openly to everyone that I will keep doing this until I feel I’m offending the customer. I will continually go out there and do what I can to contribute and add.”
And considering his match with Austin Theory, The Suicide Squad star showcased that he is still capable of delivering some great in-ring performances. Even though the WWE superstar is now busy handling several Hollywood projects, fans are hopeful that Cena might return to WWE soon.
