an Indian boy living in Hounslow, west London, has just achieved an IQ of 162, while famous scientist Albert Einstein is said to have had an IQ of 160.
Krish has been accepted into Mensa, the world’s most intelligent society, with excellent entrance exam results. In September 2025, he will attend Queen Elizabeth’s School, one of the top secondary schools in the UK.
“Primary school is so boring, I don’t learn anything. We just do multiplication and write sentences all day. I prefer algebra,” he said.
Mauli and Nischal, Krish’s parents, both engineers, first noticed their son’s talent when he was just 4 years old. At this stage, Krish could read fluently and solve complex math problems, including decimal division.
At the age of 8, Krish completed a year’s worth of schoolwork in a single day and could solve the popular word puzzle game Wordle in a short time. “Whatever he did, he wanted to excel,” his mother added.

In addition to his outstanding math skills, Krish plays the piano, reaching level 8 (the highest) after just a year and a half of lessons. He has the extremely rare ability of absolute pitch, which means he can recognize notes without reference notes. Krish has won numerous awards as a pianist and has been inducted into the Trinity College of Music’s “hall of fame”.
“I could have been a pianist or done something related to math, but I like math a little bit more, so I’ll probably do math,” Krish said.
Krish also told MyLondon that to relax, he likes to solve puzzles and do crosswords. Despite only learning chess for four months, he has already beaten his coach.
Raising such a smart child is a “huge source of pride”, although it is not without its challenges, said Mauli.
“It’s hard to raise a child with such a superior intellect. He always asks difficult questions. But it’s a real joy to see a young child doing outstanding things. I realize that it’s a gift from God,” she said.
