SVVN – Rumors that singer IU and actor Lee Jong Suk have broken up have spread online and are currently in the ‘Top 10 trending searches on Weibo’. 

While the couple had made their relationship public since 2022, rumors suddenly emerged and spread widely on Weibo , speculating that they were no longer together.

Chinese netizens shared screenshots on Weibo, claiming that they had found evidence. Accordingly, C-net users discovered that IU was wearing a ring on her index finger, which means that the person is still single in Korea. Immediately, the couple’s breakup rumors climbed to the 7th trending position on Weibo’s search list and became a ‘ hot ‘ topic.

Lee Jong Suk will be reuniting with the director of W after eight years in tvN’s new drama, Seocho-dong. Written by practicing lawyer Lee Seung Hyun, Seochodong (literal title) tells the passionate story of associate lawyers working in the judicial town of Seocho. Lee Jong Suk plays Ahn Joo Hyung, a lawyer with nine years of experience, with strong logical reasoning, who, along with Kang Hee Ji (Mun Ka Young), Jo Chang Won (Kang You Seok), Bae Moon Jung ( Ryu Hye Young ), and Ha Sang Ki (Im Seong Jae), forms the five members of the “Associate Lawyers Avengers.”

IU is in the spotlight with the drama When Life Gives You Tangerines, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on March 7.

IU will play the female lead Oh Ae Soon, a determined girl who always has hope despite her difficult circumstances, even though she cannot go to school. Oh Ae Soon will join the smart, hard-working boy, Yang Gwan Sik (played by Park Bo Gum), who grew up in a small coastal village on Jeju Island, to write a journey of youth and love that spans the four seasons, depicting the lives and growth of the characters.
