Apple Martin – daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and singer Chris Martin – was one of more than 20 young ladies from aristocratic families from around the world attending the Le Bal aristocratic gala in Paris on November 30.
Apple Martin, 20, appeared charming at the Le Bal des Débutantes (Royal Ball). The daughter of a famous Hollywood couple wore a blue dress made of plissé chiffon with a black bow. The design was from the Valentino brand, taking 750 hours to complete. Apple wore light makeup and let her straight blonde hair down to enhance her natural beauty.
The eldest daughter of the ‘Iron Man’ actress and Coldplay frontman is a third-year student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA. Apple and her family flew to the French capital for a gala at the Shangri-La Hotel.
Apple poses with this year’s debutantes. Le Bal des Débutantes, or Le Bal for short, is considered by Forbes magazine to be ‘one of the world’s top 10 lavish parties’. The event is held annually in France over Thanksgiving weekend. Le Bal is considered a modern version of the traditional English ball, where young aristocrats make their debut into high society when they come of age. Currently, only about 20 girls from around the world are selected to attend each year. They are all daughters of noble families or famous figures.

The Oscar-winning actress shared a loving moment with her child. Apple is said to have inherited the beauty and slim figure of her mother – a famous Hollywood beauty who once captivated the hearts of many male stars such as Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck.
Apple’s younger brother Mose (right), who is studying at Brown University, came to Paris to support his sister. Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother, actress Blythe Danner, also attended the event.
Singer Chris Martin (right) reunited with Gwyneth Paltrow on their daughter’s special day. The couple divorced in 2016 but have remained close, often meeting and participating in activities together for the sake of their children. Chris is currently engaged to ’50 Shades of Grey’ actress Dakota Johnson while Gwyneth is married to director Brad Falchuk.
